Carmen Seele’s Background and Professional Qualifications
Carmen studied at Stellenbosch University and completed her articles in Cape Town; she was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer by the High Court of South Africa in 1996. She relocated to Johannesburg where she gained experience in the field of compliance, and was involved in the set-up of the Micro Finance Regulatory Council (now the National Credit Regulator). From there, she joined Group Compliance at Standard Bank. She is a member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa.
Carmen relocated to Ladysmith in 2003, where she established her independent practice whilst raising her family. She is now based in Nottingham Road at the centre of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Her focus has always been ‘clients first’, assisting them by providing a dedicated and professional service. Her passion lies in educating and informing her clients whilst providing top notch legal services in the areas of:

- Notarial practice
- Deceased estates
She continues to provide services to Compliance and Risk Resources, a Johannesburg-based consulting firm.
Recent expansion into Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal
Carmen has recently expanded her practice to Nottingham Road and provides legal services within the Nottingham Road, Hilton and the greater Pietermaritzburg area.
